The series "at the foot of the wall" deals with seemingly neutral subjects by proposing the meeting of eight walls: intertwined masonry walls, cliffs... represented frontally, like a nose to nose. Etching and aquatint are approached directly on the plate, without transfer. They are a long and pointillist contemplation which gives pride of place to the walls carrying superimposed times, historical, generational, constructive, organic... 'sedimentary' subjects which tell a story to whoever wants to read it, echoing the superposition of states in printing processes.
