Beach Series

Shellfish and crustaceans; these are the beaches of the Normandy coast or in Belgium in 2024, the seaside resorts, a somewhat old-fashioned place of idleness, evocative of the sun and freedom, sometimes of strangeness or mystery, which inspired this series of engravings after that of On ze beach (1990) - The liquidation of the islands imagined by Gauguin 2018 or the Zestivales (2022). Engravings always linked to research and experiments on solar plates.
