Exploring the possibilities of etching, Carine Perreur has developed an imaginary, dreamlike world of colorful accents. She creates prints with multiple plates, inked with doll's ink or in monochrome. Her works often work in series, and an anthropomorphic bestiary unfolds, where rodents neighbor giraffes, foxes fly with unicorns, octopuses read and engrave, and our human world is revisited with an offbeat, poetic or smiling note.
